The Mission

The mission of this site is very simple: to make theology and doctrine less intimidating for the everyday Christian.

Theology can feel very academic, and it is, but it really does have real-world practicality in the life of a follower of Christ. However, starting to learn theology can feel like staring at a car engine with zero technical knowledge -- you just don't know where to begin.

So whether you find yourself cluelessly staring into the world of doctrine, or if you've dabbled and learned a fair amount yourself, I hope that you'll achieve the following two objectives:

1) You will acquire head knowledge theologically, becoming familiar with new concepts and desiring to do your own extended research; and

2) You will experience that knowledge beginning to change your heart and your affections towards Christ; that you would grow to love Jesus as you come to know more and more about Him.
